Dr. Pedro Roa Sánchez is a neurologist and researcher with over 20 years of clinical and scientific experience. A specialist in rare neurological diseases, he has led key research on PKAN in the Dominican Republic, combining academic rigor, clinical experience, and a humanistic approach to patient care.
He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a former president of the Dominican Society of Neurology and Neurosurgery. His work has been supported by international collaborations and numerous scientific publications.
